Theme Animal: The Manatee
The opening address for Masters VI and the official state of the series.
Opening Address
Welcome to Year 6 of the Chubya Cup Series — undisputed crown jewel of the western hemisphere and a league so prestigious it exudes brilliance. The glory of the Chubya Cup Series intensifies with every season, along with rivalries, trash talk, and competition.
All distinction and absolute, excessive power to the Chair — may he rule for 1,000 years with an iron fist and a shrinking handicap. Long live the Chair!
2025 Honors

On-Course Quick Reference
The fast-read version for checking a ruling on the tee, in the fairway, or while the group is waiting. Keep it moving, keep it fair, and default to good-faith judgment.
Core principles
The Chubya Cup Series is a casual, competition-friendly golf league designed to prioritize pace of play, fairness, and enjoyment over strict adherence to formal tournament rules. Integrity is expected; rigidity is not.
OB treated as red penalty areas
Purpose: eliminates re-teeing and speeds up play
Fairway only
This is not a general preferred-lies rule. It applies only to divots or abnormal damage
First tee only
Pace-of-play relief
Conceded inside grip length
Group rhythm
Good-faith scorekeeping
Chairman authority
League philosophy
Maintain competitive fun without over-policing rules. If a rule slows things down or kills the vibe, you're probably doing it wrong.
